Stitched Stories is a project that began as a community stitching project in 2019 on the Isle of Arran.  It quickly spread across the water to West Kilbride from there into over 24 countries around the world.  We have many members stitching weekly on their postcard projects.  Find out more information about this aspect of the project within the Community Project pages.

In 2020 the project grew enormously and developed in response to member requests.  We began offering kits and packs on our Etsy store and these help fund the community wing of the project.

We have a very active Facebook page where members share their postcards.  We also have a group page called One Stitch at a Time where we share all manner of creative projects.

One of our most common requests is for us to offer tutorials, classes and courses and we are delighted to be launching our brand new Academy.  We are offering this from our virtual studio - the workroom.  As 2021 unfolds we will be developing a portfolio of courses dedicated to stitching for our well-being. Visit our Academy page to find out more.

Our brand new virtual Studio - The Workroom is an exciting development.   We have two resident makers, Fiona (Stitching for wellbeing) & Charlotte (Ribble Recycled), who will be sharing their practice. Written in a blog format, our workroom will invite you to join us in experimental work.  Studios come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and we hope that our workroom will support your own studio practices.  Find out more HERE.
